We have called to 4,000 homes over the summer and will be hosting free events up to end Sept to highlight some of the travel options that are available in your area. Clondalkin Fonthill Train Station Open Day

Saturday 15th Sept 11:00am to 1:00pm

Irish Rail will give tours of the station; tours of a modern train; and answer questions about rail services and park and ride facilities (free at present) at the station. We hope that the Open Day will assist you in planning your future journeys from Clondalkin Fonthill Station.

Cycle from Di Bella Restaurant at Griffeen to 9th Lock, Clondalkin

Route via Griffeen Avenue, Griffeen Valley Park, Grand Canal overbridge at 12th Lock along the Grand Canal Way Green Route to 9th Lock and Back. Refreshments provided upon return. Cycle is aimed at adults (over 16's). Please register your interest at travelsmart@sdublincoco.ie

Family day starting with a cycle from Clondalkin Civic Offices in Clondalkin Village onto Corkagh Park. Option to join in from within the confines of the park itself if preferable. With plenty of activities including balloon modelling, live music, vintage bikes, refreshments and the pet farm a fun filled day for all the family is promised!

Travel Advisors will be located beside Centra Griffeen to offer travel advice and to help people find the best solutions for their journeys. Advisors will have detials of tax saver schemes bor bus and rail tickets and bikes; local walking and cycling routes; detials of new cycle parking in the area. People will also have the opportunity to sign up to pedometer, cycle and journey logger challenges- with some great prizes!
